Microsoft Azure Security Center Announces New Features

Azure has built-in security controls for data, applications, computing, networks, identification and threat protection, which allows you to configure security and integrate partner solutions.
We continue to invest in security, and we are pleased to share the cool updates announced last week at Hannover Messe 2019. Among them are Advanced Threat Protection for Azure Storage, Compliance Dashboard and Support for Scalable Virtual Machine Scale Sets ) (VMSS). Full list under cat.

The following features announced at Hannover Messe 2019 are now available for Azure Security Center:
- Advanced Azure Vault Threat Protection - The level of protection that helps customers detect and respond to potential threats in their vault account as they arise - without having to be a security expert.
- Regulatory Compliance Dashboard - Helps Security Center customers streamline their compliance process by providing information on their compliance status for a set of supported standards and rules.
- Support for scalable Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS) - Easily monitor the security status of your VMSS with security recommendations.
- Dedicated Hardware Security Module (HSM) (available in the UK, Canada, and Australia) - Provides storage of cryptographic keys in Azure and meets the most stringent security requirements and meets customer requirements.
- Support for Azure Drive Encryption for VMSS - Azure Drive Encryption can now be enabled for VMSS Windows and Linux in Azure's public regions - provides customers the ability to protect and save VMSS data at rest using standard encryption technology.
