Remilicht table lamps with Sunlike LEDs

Last year, new-generation lighting LEDs appeared, called Sunlike (“like the sun”), differing from the usual ones with a more even spectrum and high color rendering indices ( habr.com/ru/company/lamptest/blog/411021 ).

Remilicht has released two table lamps using such LEDs.

The fact that the lamps use LEDs Sunlike, indicated even on the boxes.

Orion table lamp costs 8550 rubles, has adjustable brightness and four color temperatures from 2700K to 4900K. There is a function of automatic brightness control, slow fading (sunset mode), automatic shutdown.

The main rod of the lamp is tilted, there are ten touch buttons on it. On the round platform, you can install the holder for your smartphone. Two movable elements allow you to freely adjust the position of the lamp and set it at different heights above the table. Height from the table can vary from 36 to 42 cm.

At the back is a power connector and a USB 5V 1200 mA socket for charging gadgets. Used power supply 15V 1.2A.

While the lamp is off, the touch button turns on blue.

When turned on, the indicator of one of the color temperature modes lights up (after switching on to the network, this is “read” mode). Using the "-" and "+" buttons you can change the brightness (when it is minimally lit "-", when it is maximally lit "+"). The Smart button turns on brightness control from ambient lighting, the Sunset button starts sunset mode, in which the lamp goes off for 30 minutes, the Time button turns on timer mode, in which the lamp turns off after 30 minutes. The buttons are illuminated with green LEDs.

In the “Read” mode, the lamp consumes 12.4 W, has a maximum brightness (illumination of 1000–1500 lux on the table surface, depending on the height of the lamp) and a color temperature of about 4200K.

I measured the light spectra, the level of illumination and the level of pulsation using a Uprtek MK350D spectrometer .

In the “Work” mode at maximum brightness, the lamp consumes 9.5 W and gives a table illumination of 780 lux in the top position. Color temperature about 4900K.

In the “Relax” mode at maximum brightness, the lamp consumes 9.5 W and gives a table illumination of 750 lux in the top position. Color temperature about 3600K.

In the “Night” mode with the maximum brightness, the lamp consumes 6.7 W, gives the table illumination 480 lux in the upper position. Color temperature about 2700K.

At maximum brightness, the ripple of light is completely absent. When the brightness decreases, a small ripple appears, which reaches 14% at the minimum brightness. Such a pulsation is not visible and it is less than the pulsation of ordinary incandescent bulbs.

The CRI (Ra) color rendering index in all modes is very high - from 93 to 97. The spectrum is more uniform than that of ordinary LEDs. Even in cold colors, “blue peak” is absent even at a color temperature of 4900K, the blue level is the same as the red level, and the green is only slightly lower.

The brightness of the lamp can be adjusted within wide limits. At the minimum brightness, the lamp gives the illumination on the surface of the table only 20 lux (this is 50 times less than the maximum brightness), while it consumes 1 watt. When the lamp is off consumption is 0.95 watts.

Children's table lamp Flora (or Stebelek) costs 5990 rubles. It can also change the brightness and color temperature from 2700K to 6600K. There is a night light mode with a separate LED and timer mode. The lamp is also a stand for pens and pencils.

The lamp mount is flexible and can be rotated, raised and lowered.

The power connector is located at the back, using a 15V 0.6A power supply.

On the front panel seven touch buttons without backlight.

The bottom button turns the lamp on and off. The top two left buttons adjust the brightness, the top two right ones control the color temperature. The lower left button starts the timer (after 30 minutes the lamp goes out). Lower right includes a night light. It is made in the form of a separate LED, illuminating the leaf.

With a horizontal arrangement, the height of the lamp above the table is 32 cm.

After switching on to the network, the lamp glows at maximum brightness with a color temperature of about 4100K. The lamp at the same time consumes 7.7 W and gives illumination of 1070 lux at table level.

In the mode of the warmest light, the lamp consumes 4.1 W, has a color temperature of about 2700K and gives a table illumination of about 500 lux.

In the mode of the coldest light, the lamp also consumes 4.1 W, has a color temperature of about 6600K and gives a table illumination of about 570 lux.

Optimal in color seemed to me a mode five degrees colder than the warmest. It has a color temperature of about 3500K, a table illumination of 750 lux.

The spectra and color indices are the same as those of the first lamp (this is expected, because the LEDs are the same). Pulsation level does not exceed 1% at maximum brightness and 3% at minimum brightness.

In the minimum brightness mode, the lamp consumes 0.6 W and gives 29 lux on the table surface (almost 40 times less than the maximum brightness). In the night light mode (when only the leaf is lit) the lamp consumes 1 watt. When the lamp is off, it consumes 0.5 watts.

Thanks to the use of Sunlike LEDs, both Remilicht table lamps provide very high quality, comfortable and safe light, comparable to the light of the sun. Such light does not tire the eyes with long use, and the possibility of changing the color temperature allows lamps to be used both for work and for rest (it is believed that cooler light contributes to concentration, and warmer relaxation).
