GeekBrains invites beginners to an educational game

The educational portal GeekBrains invites you to participate in the game “One Day in the Life of a Designer”, which will be held March 24 at the Moscow office of Mail.ru Group. In six hours, the participants, breaking into teams, will be able to immerse themselves in the work of the designer, get basic skills and create a prototype site. The game is suitable for beginners or those interested in design. Details under the cut.

Educational tracks will be held all day at the event, during which experienced designers will talk about creating a design concept, developing UI, prototypes and texts, design trends and how to present their ideas. The speakers will be curators of design courses at GeekBrains: art director of Mail.ru Group Artem Fenelonov, senior designer of Mail.ru Group Arthur Gromadin, lead designer of Invitro Ilya Polyansky and others.

Educational game schedule:

11 a.m. Gathering and dividing into teams

The first educational track is
11:30. Briefing, design concept, neurodesign
12:30. Teamwork

The second educational track is
13:00. Basic knowledge of UI, prototypes, texts
13:45. Teamwork

The third educational track is
14:30. Presentation of ideas, trends in design, work with designers
15:00. Teamwork

16:30. Submission of works by the jury at
17:00. Summing up and rewarding the winners

Prizes await authors of the best works. Winning team members can study at GeekBrains for free. Second Place Award - Graphic Tablets. Teams from third to fifth will receive a 50% discount on all design courses at GeekBrains.
