“Something like that ...” - an unusual web service for paranoid

    image

I want to talk about the project, the development coordinator of which I happened to visit. First of all, I was interested in the idea laid down in the service, or rather, the attempt to give everyone a little more anonymity ...

UPD: This post came out a little over a week ago, but due to the wrong choice of topic, it was withdrawn from publication, and I flew away RO for a week. Now I place it where it should be. All the comments that were left to the original post are lost (sorry), but I tried to restore them from memory.
UPD2: Comments are not lost, cheers!

I thought for a long time - in which topic to post the message.
"I'm PR"? Well, actually, not me, and not really PR, and the project is non-profit. "Information Security"? It’s not the same either, it’s more about anonymity ... In general, some questions. So I’ll try briefly and to the point, and you decide whether hubs and tags are selected correctly or incorrectly.

So, a man turned to me (hereinafter referred to as the Customer) and asked for help. He had an informal TK, a small amount of money and a desire to make his dream a reality. I had to act as a kind of problem-solving specialist (as in “Pulp Fiction”), or rather, write a clear technical task, figuring out how many and which buttons should be on which page of the site and what they (buttons) should do. Well, of course, the selection of a programmer is also on me (the benefit is registration at Freelansim), production control, calculations, catching bugs ...

About how all this happened, I will not spread. It was all: the non-optimal TK, which I redone four times, disappearing and appearing developers, fun with hosting and domain name ... And it lasted so long that I already lost faith in the result. But in the end, the service worked, I tested it as a parent, which I want to talk about.

The customer (and I) still do not know what happened in the end. A forum is not a forum, a blog is not a blog, it doesn’t look like a social network at all ... Some kind of hybrid. In philosophy, this is reminiscent of 4chan, because it allows you to work with the service without any registration. But at the same time (in contrast to the anonymous forum) the list of topics is NOT displayed.

It works like this. Any visitor can post text on the site (up to 2000 characters), get a permanent link to their entry. The link is cunning, like "http: //kak2tak.tk/hjHJ7bj6t79BHJ". Further on this link, any other person can go to the site and read the record. And if the author allowed, then comment. There are traditional features like “Notify me of comments by email,” but this is optional ... Also, the author receives a password in order to delete comments or edit his post if necessary. If no one reads or comments on a record, it will be deleted in a month.

The result is such a one-time anonymous blog. But the main devilish charm is that pages with posts are not indexed by search engines. And to the heap - the site does not have a list of records and searches. Thus, anonymity and privacy are combined here - the page is in the public domain, and only select ones who have a link can read it. Undoubtedly, you can come across a record by accident, but there’s a tricky long link for that ...

The customer offered his own case, when this service can help.
    I quote
“How did you go on vacation?” How are you doing? ”Friends ask. “Well, something like that ...”, you answer and start telling. More precisely, write on facebook or zhezheshekom. And then - frantically close the record, wondering if the mother-in-law managed to read a colorful description of your walk through the vain places of Amsterdam.

Finally, the message is hidden and is shown only to the most trusted friends, all names are changed. And then it turns out that Vasya’s childhood friend, who certainly needs to know all the details of the trip, is not registered with FB. And for Kolya, who right now is eager to take part in the discussion of varieties of “coffee” served in coffee shops, the employer blocks access to social networks.

But you could just post an anonymous trip report on our service “Something Like This ...” and calmly discuss it with the elite. It's simple: we go to kak2tak.tk, write a message and send interested parties a link to the page in any way convenient for you.

Obviously, it is possible to discuss not only “left-handed” campaigns, but also some other secret things of varying degrees of legality. However, the Customer assures that the content is monitored by several Autobots (more precisely, autospam filters), as well as two brave sleepy admins. It is planned to cooperate with Roskomnadzor, removing the “propaganda of everything” on demand.

With monetization it will be difficult, but such a task was not originally set. The trouble is that banner exchange networks cannot be allowed on the pages of records - they will immediately begin to climb the text and index it, and this is prohibited by design. So the project is non-profit from the word "completely", the benefit is that it does not consume much money. But we still hung the banners :). On static pages - Google Ads (there you can), and on the pages of posts - classic banners in the form of a picture that you can click on.

Finally, two questions (I will not create a survey, since there can be many options).
What other options for using the service do you see?
What is Kak2tak.tk : a blog, forum or anti-social network?

    Thanks for attention

PS I ask you to treat lags with understanding. There was not enough pocket money for expensive foreign hosting. Yes, and the current hoster is very out of time started moving the server. So the server has temporary turbidity, when it shamelessly slows down, sends confirmation emails for half an hour, etc. ... But in a minute everything can fly again. If you want to report bugs - this can be done not only through the contact form on the site, but also here on the GT (in PM).

UPD I don’t know if anyone is following this record :), but I inform that after a couple of breakdowns and transfers from the host to the host, Kak2tak.tk is online again. All posted entries, of course, are not lost.
