At the workplace for $ 5900, you can work while standing, sitting and even lying
California startup Altwork is working to solve the problem of uncomfortable jobs for all those people who work all day sitting in front of a computer. Having combined various solutions, the startup gave Altwork Station - a combination of a desktop and a chair, which with the help of electric motors can turn your workplace into not only standing and sitting, but also lying.
At the touch of a button, you can adjust the height of the countertop and move it manually relative to the chair - this way you can sit and stand while working at the computer. The chair also has several sections, which, when laid out, form a whole bed. In horizontal position, the countertop tilts. The monitor is held using special equipment, and the mouse and keyboard do not fall from the countertop thanks to magnets.
The position of all the components of the chair and tabletop is fully customizable, and their various combinations can be entered into the device's memory. In a sitting position, you can extend and adjust the support position for the legs.

A fairly futuristic looking workplace will appear on sale in the middle of next year at a price of about $ 5,900. Pre-order buyers can save up to $ 2,000. A device without a monitor and other accessories weighs a little over 100 kg .
