USPS stops tracking registered international mail

The USPS (United States Postal Service) has unilaterally disabled the tracking of all registered international postal items throughout the United States with the exception of EMS items.
Tracking is stopped for a whole list of countries including Russia, Ukraine, countries of the whole CIS, and many countries of Europe.

For the user, this means complete impossibility to track the status of a registered letter, small package or parcel sent from a country in the USA, except for the country of departure until export to the country of destination.
The shutdown occurred on the night of October 16 to October 17, 2015.
In the case of Russian Post, tracking will only work on the Russian Post website and only from the moment it is sent until the moment of export. Tracking within the United States is no longer possible.

The list is amazing. What a bunch of “banana” republics is doing there and at the same time, attention, Belarus is in splendid isolation, with the complete absence of all its “neighbors”, both Russia and the EU (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland) - is not clear.
For what "flown" to Israel and China is also incomprehensible.

Previously, you could see the passage of shipments across the United States on the USPS website , where the passage of shipments across the States of this kind was highlighted:

    Now it is impossible. All.

They want to introduce “US traceability” as an additional paid service, distorting the very meaning of the concept of a registered item. And not all countries support this service.
