We learned from the speakers what exactly they will be talking about in an open lecture:

“We will talk about three global things that are in the industry: game development, their launch and promotion. To begin with, how do developers make games in general, in what environment do we live, how does it work in a gaming company using the example of Mail.Ru Group. Then we'll talk about people who make games, about who is on the team. Well, then the fun part is how much it all costs! We’ll show you some real cases: from creating your own studio with a budget of more than 25 million rubles to free developing the game on the principle of “all by yourself”.

We will not forget about the cases from the experience of individual studio employees, in particular the work of a game designer to develop game logic. Let's talk about the types of balance on the example of our favorite game World of Warcraft.

In the part devoted to the launch and operation of the project, we will talk about the methodology for launching games on different platforms. It is important to note here that the modern market is strongly influenced by globalization. This means that for the success of the product on almost any platform, it is necessary to launch its localized versions in several regions at the same time. We will also share with the audience information on the income of the world's largest companies.

And finally, let's talk about what methods of promoting online games exist: how a marketing plan is prepared in the process of launching a product, what paid, free and mixed methods of promotion exist, what is the effectiveness of each of them. ”

An open lecture will last about an hour and a half, after which guests can ask their questions to lecturers on the secrets of the gaming industry, as well as teachers of educational programs in the field of training for the gaming industry .
