This is a plane? No, this is a three jet engine truck

Four ambulances, three district sheriffs, two patrolmen, a fire engine, and several other special vehicles drove off to call the plane. Fortunately, the challenge was false: the roar came from the jet engines of a 36,000 horsepower truck.

The monster got the name Shockwave . It is based on the 1985 Peterbilt 359 tractor unit and is equipped with three Pratt & Whitney J34-48 jet engines. Engines develop traction in 8620 kilograms - this is enough to accelerate a three-ton car to 600 kilometers per hour. Acceleration to 400 km / h requires 6.63 seconds. You have to use a parachute as a brake.

The owner of the truck, Neil Darnell, met the police, doctors and rescuers who arrived to call the plane about the crash, gave them leaflets with a link to the site and apologized for wasting their time. Darnell spoke of the police saying: “Sorry, we were not here 25 minutes ago to see this.”
