For more than a week now, the Smart Home system from Beltelecom has been used in my home . And looking ahead, I want to say that I decided to continue using it, despite its simplicity and a small number of sensors. True, so far it looks like "Mice cried, pricked, but continued to nibble the cactus."

During this time, she supplemented with new sensors, earned the opportunity to change the mode of "Home / Not at home / Sleep."
The motion sensors and door openings work perfectly, the operation and sending of messages occur instantly, without any delay.

The smoke detector surprised. As expected, during the test it worked for smoke, made a sound, sent three messages with a warning about smoke. Then the system began to send a message “Device The smoke sensor is damaged.” Entry into the room is possible. Check. ” I do not know how long this would last, but after two dozen messages, the battery was distorted - the messages stopped coming.

The siren is the only device that I have not connected. Firstly, it requires a 220V connection, and secondly, it screams heavily. Given that while debugging is in progress, I do not want it to accidentally work.


Smart socket allows you to remotely turn on and off something.

It turned out that she still knows how to measure the power consumption of the device connected through it.


Unfortunately, Beltelecom clamped the camera, or rather they do not have it in stock. And it is very ugly on their part, at the start of the service, not to provide the most interesting item from the system. But as it became known - this is a megapixel camera of Chinese Hikvision.

I would like to note that you cannot connect your sensors, even if they are the same as those offered, the program swears on unconnected services.
There are really not enough widgets for quick access to functions, for example, the same outlet and changing modes.
As for energy consumption, everything is sad here ... - the phone began to discharge significantly faster.

At the same time, sensor consumption is very low. When the battery is low or the sensor is physically damaged, a notification will come.

Beltelecom is a large company in Belarus, which is a fixed telephony operator, provides Internet access services, as well as interactive television services. Owns a network of trunk fiber-optic communication lines and is a monopoly provider of external Internet gateways.
The launch of the Smart Home service is a normal process for such a company; it probes the market for new services, which is good. Everything else will tell time.
