Next to the watch there are 2 additional straps under it, under which is a charging compartment - it conveniently connects to the watch with magnets - and tools for replacing the straps.
The watch case is made of stainless steel and can withstand pressure up to five atmospheres, and the display is protected by anti-reflective mineral glass. Interestingly, there is no Hewlett-Packard logo anywhere - the company developed the internals of Chronowing written only on the reverse side, and then in small print.
Of course, the functionality of the device does not compare with the watches running on Android Wear. The monochrome display has a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels and can do the main thing: display notifications. By the way, the information is clearly visible in the sun due to the fact that it appears on a black background. In the dark, you can turn on the backlight, then the colors are inverted. Due to the high energy efficiency of this solution, charging lasts for a whole week.
Chronowing connects to the iPhone and Android-smartphone with the system version 4.3 and higher, and after synchronization, which occurs through the proprietary application, it begins to show its “smart” capabilities. With their help, you can track the stock price and the score of a sports match, monitor the weather and time in selected cities. Not without a stopwatch, checking messages and events on the calendar, as well as controlling the player of the smartphone. With all these tasks, the watch copes well.
