Programming as a Fine Art

Watercolor is simple and accessible to everyone. Paper, several brushes, water and a set of paints are all that is needed to get started.
The main features of watercolors are the transparency of the paint, the absence of white color and the effect of unique color mixing. The transparency of the paint does not allow us to correct the already written parts of the picture, and the lack of white makes the artist go to the trick and use the natural color of the paper instead of paint. All this leads to the fact that watercolor painting requires careful preliminary planning of the composition of the work, and the process of writing a picture requires a high concentration of attention - one wrong brush stroke - and now the paint has spread throughout the picture or crawled out of the frame allotted to it by the artist.
Watercolor requires patience. Before you begin to paint small details, you need to wait until the previous layer dries as much as it is necessary to obtain the effect of mixing colors intended by the artist. For a beginner, watercolor is unpredictable:

However, having mastered the true skill of watercolor, the artist will receive from his work an incomparable feeling of lightness, air, light and color; let it take years of hard training.

Oil Paints - Java

Oil painting is a real mainstream among artists. A distinctive feature of this type of painting is the ability to repaint any part of the canvas of the painting beyond recognition. The choice of oil paints provides a guarantee that the work will not be so damaged that it would have to be thrown away. All this allows the artist to create so huge paintings in oil that would be unrealizable when choosing other types of painting. Oil painting is one of the most profitable types of painting for the artist; and, in fact, the availability of oil paints for the population is at an average level.
Gouache - Pascal

A type of painting, the heyday and decline of which has already ended, and it all happened once upon a time in the 20th century. Now it is used mainly in schools for drawing lessons.
Application - Basic

Technically uncomplicated method of fine art, it is used like gouache mainly in schools at drawing lessons.
A true artist can do with anything, and do not blame those who find their inspiration here.
A simple pencil - Assembler A

minimalistic set of tools - paper, pencil and eraser; black and white color palette. Basically, it is limited to drawing simple geometrical figures, but drawing something more complicated is difficult.

Pen - Perl

"Written with a pen - you can’t cut it with an ax" - the main wisdom and philosophy here. Another distinctive feature - the pen drawing has its own unique and catchy smell.
Somewhere they say that there are real masters of the genre:

Crayons on asphalt - PHP

A kind of creativity accessible to everyone, even to a child. Popular among children, but with age, interest in crayons disappears. The work is drawn quickly; beautiful - not beautiful, but crayons fulfill their task for children.
Markers - Python

A relatively new invention in painting. People are attracted by the brightness of colors and ease of use. When using coloring, an incredible speed of drawing is achieved. Someone may say that this
kills creativity and the line between the amateur and the professional disappears, and the felt-tip pens themselves cease to be a
form of serious art, but in reality all this is too subjective to raise any debate on this topic.
Pastel - Ruby

Bright colours. The more you use crayons from a ready-made set, the faster creativity; it’s easier to take an extra set of crayons in different shades than to mix the colors yourself.
Water Soluble Pencils - C #

An attempt to achieve the ease of watercolors through the use of water soluble pencils. Unfortunately, there are not many manufacturers of water-soluble pencils, and the pencils themselves are not always available.
Enamel - Objective-C

Creativity requires special techniques and materials. A piece of enamel is often adorned with precious stones. Bottom line: objectively beautiful, but not accessible to the masses.
Custom Watercolor Techniques - C ++

When inspiration is pumped when drawing with watercolors, the artist begins to search and use non-standard and perverse drawing techniques, for example, use gouache to obtain white color, sprinkle salt and sugar on paper to obtain the desired texture, use sponges, toothbrushes, cut paper, warp it with sandpaper etc.

The main reason for these deviations is the lack of mastery of watercolor; and beginner artists should be cautioned against following this slippery slope.

Graffiti - JavaScript

Graffiti - a new, not yet universally recognized, trend in art. With proper skill,
it comes out beautifully and tastefully. In the hands of a layman ceases to be art.

Graffiti on paper - Haskell

The painting technique first introduces a novice artist into a stupor, and then you quickly get used to it.
Japanese Crossword - Lua

Limited fantasy for creativity; the rules are simple, the crossword puzzle itself is more a puzzle than an art.
