Huawei and Lenovo are interested in implementing the “Spring Package”

According to the Kommersant newspaper , Bulat , a telecom equipment manufacturer owned by Rostelecom and Rostec, is negotiating with Huawei and Lenovo on licensing technology for the production of solutions for the implementation of the Yarovaya package .

“Negotiations with Huawei are at a more advanced stage, we are talking about the transfer of technology for the production of data center solutions and the construction of communication channels, that is, various servers, data storage systems, telecommunications equipment,” a Kommersant source said.

Huawei representatives did not comment on this information in any way; the head of Lenovo in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe stated that there were no official negotiations, but “we are interested in cooperation with Bulat, we are ready to consider the company at least as an OEM, and jointly develop our server platform and work on the creation of a software and hardware complex that would satisfy the storage requirements specified in the "Spring Law". "

It is worth adding that in July Vladimir Putin ordered the establishment of equipment for the implementation of the “Spring Package” in Russia. It is possible that foreign companies will buy a stake in Bulat, but this share should be less than 50%.
