Vivaldi Browser Survey Results

Hello! Three weeks ago, we started a small survey on the functions of Vivaldi , the purpose of which was to find out what browser features are popular with users. Let me remind you that the survey participants were offered a list of already existing Vivaldi functions, from which it was possible to choose no more than five of the most popular in the user's opinion. Naturally, it was about those functions that the survey participant really uses in everyday work. The survey process did not go very smoothly for technical reasons - some users were unable to complete the vote, but be that as it may, the majority managed to do it and today we can talk about the results.

First of all, some statistics. Actually, the survey lasted 10 days - from September 21 to 30, and during this time more than 1600 users were able to express their opinion. In the table below you can see the full list of functions sorted by popularity among users (in parentheses near the name of the function is its serial number in the poll list):


As you can see, no special surprises happened: users still give preference to the functional side of working with the browser, and all decorative refinements and amenities are pushed to the background. I can say that the results of this survey, translated into English, were sent directly to the developers a few days ago - in this way they received a kind of hint from users that beauty and convenience are good only when they act as “packaging” for the really important and useful functionality.

Yes, if someone saw a discrepancy between the sum of the answers and the number of voters. Let me remind you that it was allowed to select up to 5 functions in the list, so the same user could add up to five points to the total number of answers. So that you do not waste time counting: on average, each respondent had 3 functions. Below are the same results in percentage terms relative to the total number of answers:
