Results of the Web & Tech Ready 2015 IT project competition and statistics for all contest participants
On October 20, the Skolkovo Hypercube hosted the finals of the VII open contest of Web & TechReady IT projects. This year's awards were awarded to 20 projects in three main and ten special nominations. Including 12 companies received cash grants from the Skolkovo Fund for a total amount of 48 million rubles.
The main Seed and Startup nominations differed in the stage of business development; projects created within the framework of large companies and displayed in separate business units participated in the Spinoff nomination. In total, 712 teams from 106 cities became participants in the competition. The projects were presented by 65 Russian and foreign business incubators and accelerators.
In the Startup nomination, the Sum & Substance project won - a platform for verifying the authenticity of digital documents. The jury awarded second place to Face_IS, a cloud-based face recognition service. The third was the AppFollow service, which allows developers to analyze competitor applications in the App Store and Google Play.
Last.Backend was the best in the Seed nomination, which created a platform for automating the process of developing and deploying server applications. Second place - the augmented reality projector for the Crystal Vision HUD. The third prize was given to the Surfancy project - a device that allows you to create a touch area on any surface.
The winner in the Spinoff nomination was WorksPad - a solution that allows organizing a mobile workplace (on a tablet computer) for corporate users. Second place - a tool for user verification in mobile applications by voice and face VoiceKey.ONEPASS. Thirdly, the system of monitoring and analyzing the brand in social media and real-time media Brand Analytics.
