Roman Abramovich invested in an Israeli startup

    Russian businessman Roman Abramovich invested in the Israeli company AnyClip Media. In a new round of financing, this company raised $ 21 million, according to Vedomosti. In addition to Abramovich, the American company Limelight Networks also invested in a startup. Investments were provided by the existing shareholders of the company, Jerusalem Venture Partners, GTI, etc.

    AnyClip Media is the creator of the platform of the same name, which distributes video content through 200 thousand partner sites. The company uses targeting in its work, this allows advertisers and video producers to receive targeted views.

    Interactive Advertising Bureau previously published a forecast for an increase in the global video advertising market this year by 46% - up to $ 10.3 billion.

    The founders of AnyClip Media are the Knesset member from the Zionist Camp party, Erel Margalit, and the former president of Sony Corporation of America, Mickey Schulhof. Now the company has offices in Israel and the USA, in which about 50 employees work.

    The company's management plans to invest in improving the platform.
