
56% of blogs are spam
Researchers at eBiquity Group have published a new blogspam report on spam. From the report it follows that:
- 53% of pings from blogs are blog spam, and for English blogs this figure is 64%;
- 56% of the blogs that generate pings are spam (for them even the name is - “splogs”);
- The most spammed blog hosting is Blogspot;
- Most of the “splogs” are in the United States.
