Announcement! DevCon 2016 participants will be available a master class from Intel

    Dear readers, we are pleased to inform you that DevCon 2016 participants will be able to take part in Intel 's special workshop on the subject of the Internet of Things with Intel Edison boards .

    The master class is devoted to practical work with Intel Edison. You will learn about the technical features and capabilities, options for using and testing the Intel Edison Single Board Computer. Installation of drivers and connection to Edison will be considered; work on Linux: launch SSH and connect to Wi-Fi. During the training, a solution to practical problems in mini-groups will be offered.

    Each participant will try to write their own programs to turn on the LED and connect various sensors. Using the Intel Edison platform, participants will be able to assemble devices such as interactive gadgets, elements of a smart home, and also try to manage objects via the Internet.

    The organizers will provide the following equipment: Intel Edison, Grove Starter Kit Plus and other sets of sensors and sensors. Participants need to bring a laptop with the Intel XDK IoT Edition pre-installed .

    The master class at the DevCon 2016 conference will be conducted by Diana Ilyina and Sergey Ivanov , one of the first in Russia to participate in the Intel Software Innovator program in the field of Internet of Things, IoT.


    Diana is a graduate of the Department of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Nizhny Novgorod State University. N.I. Lobachevsky (NNSU) majoring in Applied Informatics. In February 2006, Diana Ilyina became a trainee at the Laboratory of Physical Foundations and Wireless Technologies of the Radiophysical Department of the UNN. Since 2010, he has been the coordinator of student schools and the mentor of educational projects held at the PHOT BS laboratory.







    Ivanov Sergey - graduate of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Nizhny Novgorod State University N.I. Lobachevsky (NNSU) majoring in Applied Informatics, from August 2010 he became an intern at the Laboratory of Physical Foundations and Wireless Technologies. Since 2011, she has been participating in the organization of student schools held at the PHOT BS laboratory. He is a lecturer and mentor of educational projects.
