Comparison of tariffs for mobile Internet in different regions

Mobile operators have strikingly different Internet tariffs in different regions, but many of these tariffs either work immediately throughout Russia or require the addition of an additional option, which, however, may be cheaper than using the tariffs of your region.

Sometimes, sometimes I have to use exclusively mobile Internet for a week, and even in another region. Traffic this week spends about 3 gigabytes, although I usually have enough gigabytes per month.

I would like to have some kind of SIM both for travel and for everyday use, where there would be the cheapest traffic, but which operator and which tariff / package to choose? This is what I tried to find out. As you understand, the SIM will be used all the time outside the home region, so this comparison does not claim to be complete, because I considered only those options that interested me. It should be noted that calls and SMS did not interest me at all - I do not call and they do not call me.

    Megaphone

Let's start with Megafon Internet packages. Unfortunately, all Megafon packages work exclusively in the home region, except Moscow, and the option “All Russia” costs an impressive 10 rubles per day, so for myself I immediately excluded this option. Base rates are also quite expensive, so I have not been considered.

    MTS

As in the case of Megafon, packages from MTS work only in the home region, and only crazy people will use them in other regions - roaming in Russia costs as much as 50 rubles a day!
Tariffs from the Smart series provide approximately the same Internet packages for approximately the same price in all regions, so I did not build a schedule for them, but if you are interested, the raw data is in the archive below.

    Beeline

The Beeline tariff network from Beeline is quite interesting and works throughout Russia without additional options. Unfortunately, when you go beyond the package limits, small packages of 100 MB are automatically connected for a rather high price, but if you do not have enough money on your account to connect a small package, then the speed will be cut. Watch for this.

Beeline is a real giant in the number of different offers for different regions, so carefully, a huge picture!

    Tele2

At Tele2, the tariff schedule “Black”, “Very Black” and “Blackest” only works in some regions throughout Russia. The tariffs sometimes also include calls and SMS throughout Russia, so the SIM with these tariffs for people who call a lot in different cities can become the main one, given the rather low cost of these tariffs. Here is perhaps the most interesting example. The only negative is paid incoming calls outside the home region.

    Conclusion

So what tariff to choose? If you need 5-7 GB of traffic, then SIM Beeline from Balakovo , Cheboksary , Samara , Orenburg , Novgorod , Bryansk , Kostroma regions, and the city of Orel will be the best choice .
If you are interested in Tele2 and a little more traffic at a price similar to Beeline, then there are favorable offers in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug , Kirov , Izhevsk , and quite cheap ones in Kurgan .
