Joker 2015: News July 16-27, 2015 - New Speakers and Papers
Almost two weeks have passed since the announcement of Joker 2015 at the hub In this post, I will briefly talk about what has happened in our country during this time. And we will talk, as usual, about the content - the newly announced speakers and their reports. NEW SPEAKERS AND THEIR TOPICS

Dmitry Zhemerov is a veteran of JetBrains, a man who had a hand in IntelliJ IDEA, RubyMine, PyCharm and headed the process of converting IDEA from a simple IDE to a platform for writing IDEs for different languages. At JetBrains I managed to work as a developer, then CTO, then went to Google for a year. A few months ago he returned to JetBrains, where he led the Kotlin language support team in the IDE. Together with Sveta Isakova, she writes the first book on Kotlin, “Kotlin in Action”, which will be published, apparently, next year.
At the conference, Dmitry will talk about which parts of the IntelliJ IDEA platform are currently being copied to Kotlin, why they were chosen, what problems the developers face during this rewriting, and what profit the project receives from Kotlin during such rewriting.

Evgeny Borisov is one of the best Russian-speaking speakers, always getting into the top at any Java conference at which he speaks. Master of Spring and Design Patterns, a professional Java-trainer, to the heap is also a noble KVNschik.
This time, Eugene will tell an extended version of the report "Spring Puzzlers". This report includes many very tricky and fun Spring riddles taken from real life. The knowledge gained will help students master the subtleties of Spring-a and protect themselves from all sorts of mystical bugs. This report, unlike all other puzzlers, is very practical. A lot of live code taken from real projects will be written and parsed.
And this report is a continuation of the famous report of Zhenya “Spring the Ripper”. Who has not seen the "ripper" - immediately look! Definitely a mast si.

Alexey Zinoviev is a specialist in Java and large graphs, according to whom he is currently writing a Ph.D. thesis. Alexey tried a huge number of different storage systems, including the now fashionable NoSQL type of monga. We will talk about them, and more precisely about which storage solution in which cases you need to choose. As a result, Alexey will give listeners iron arguments for using one or another instrument.

Nicolas Frankel is the architect of hybris, a major provider of e-commerce solutions. This year, Nicholas will give a talk on how Spring Boot helps with DevOps.

Volker Simonis is an SAP engineer from the JVM Technology Group team, contributor and reviewer of OpenJDK, project lead of the OpenJDK port on PowerPC / AIX. Will come to speak at Joker for the second time. Speaks fluent Russian, but is always reported in English.
The past Joker had an interesting feature - there were a lot of reports about the JVM, bytecode and other low-level hardcore. This year the program is getting a little more even, without such a bias, although there will be a lot of reports about the guts. This time Volker will talk about final. There will be both well-known things and fun with Unsafe. For sweet Volker will understand how the experimental flag works
To summarize some of the results. At the moment, we have announced 15 speakers, some of which will make two reports each. Thus, the grid is already filled by three quarters, and literally 7-8 free places remain in it. Half of the reports we have already been announced on the site, the list will be gradually updated. Traditionally, ask questions in the comments - I will try to respond promptly. All information about the conference is on its website . And here is a specific link to the reports already announced.

By the way, literally from day to day on the hub we will publish a large (hourly!) Video interview with Dmitry. There will be about JetBrains, and about IDEA, and about Kotlin and about Google - so expect interesting!

By the way, a year ago Volker blew up our brains, debating hotspots on the fly
