We at Hakeslet love to develop not only applied courses, but also more fundamental ones (for example, about algorithms or operating systems). But we have not yet descended below the OS level in the hierarchy of abstractions. And there, inside, there are so many interesting things! For many people, and even for many professional programmers, the processes occurring inside the microprocessor at the level of individual transistors remain a mystery.

We’re publishing a translation of a wonderful video that explains how computers add numbers using transistors, a binary number system, simple logic circuits and their tricky combinations in less than 15 minutes.
