The digest of interesting materials for the mobile developer # 106 (June 1-7)
Tomorrow a new WWDC is waiting for us, but for now we’re talking about how to make money on development, about invitations to the new voice assistant Hound, about the difficult relationship between Apple and Pebble, about mobile traffic and mobile advertising.

Today I would like to share with you a haggard and nagging story about the mental torment of a dreamer who imagines himself to be an independent game developer. In order not to be too trite, I will dilute the text with graphs and numbers, as well as summarize under the article a good and life-affirming result.
Many have seen a demo video of the Hound personal assistant, who is as powerful as possible and even ahead of well-known applications such as Google Now and Siri. Hound is also available for free download on Google Play (in the US), but, unfortunately, it is under development and requires an invite at startup.
It was 2013. For a dollar they gave 30 rubles, and I got a job at 2GIS to develop under Windows Phone. I managed to participate in the launch of the 2GIS application, almost ready for that time, which soon became available to our users in the Marketplace.
Developer Economics is the world's largest study on global trends in application economics and mobile development. It is based on a survey of developers and companies conducted by the British company VisionMobile once every six months.
