List of publishers for a mobile game developer
I want to share with the beginning and continuing developers of mobile games a list of publishers, which I compiled in the process of my own searches.
A bit of lyrics. I am a mobile game developer. With the help of a small indie team, we are developing a small, rather hardcore “two castle” game for mobile phones. A couple of months ago we got to the moment when it was necessary to decide on the choice of the publisher.
At this stage, I had to spend a lot of time sifting through existing lists and sites , making the most complete list. I want to share my best practices with beginner and continuing developers of mobile games. I hope this is useful to someone.
A few words about how we organized the search for the publisher. Letters with proposals were sent in two stages - first at the alpha version level, probing those who might be interested in principle. Then, after a couple of months, reaching the beta version, we conducted another “round” of mailing, we were already looking for specific proposals. The strategy yielded certain results; we succeeded in the suitable publisher, with whom we are now working. So far, everything seems to be good.
In order to make it easier to navigate the list, I assigned a rating to each company. I warn you right away - this is a purely subjective mark! The list also includes companies that are not publishers, but which it makes sense to write. All additional information is briefly given in the comments.
Good luck to everyone in search of the publisher of their dreams!
