Not really a Facebook background
INQ today showed the public two models of Android phones that were created in collaboration with Facebook.
The INQ Cloud Touch and INQ Cloud Q phones are both for those for whom Facebook has become one of the main ways to communicate. This is expressed in the deep integration of the functions of Facebook into the phone’s shell: the news feed of your Facebook account serves as the home screen, and access to all the main Facebook applications: chat and messages, Places, friends list and notifications is made there. The phones also use Facebook Single Sign On and the Social Graph API. The latter helps, for example, to follow the news of precisely those friends with whom you communicate most. The “native” services for Android are not forgotten - for example, events from Facebook Events are synchronized with Google Calendar.

The audio player in the phones is also “cloudy” - Spotify. There is even a special button to call it.
INQ consider themselves pioneers in the social mobile category. It was they who 3 years ago released the Skypephone and INQ1 models for the “3” operator in the UK, which also had built-in support for popular online services (including Facebook). Since then, Facebook has become something more than one of the social networks, and phones from relatively simple devices (feature phone class) have become powerful Android smartphones. The creators of the phones emphasize that this is not a Facebookphone, but a phone from INQ, which helps to plunge into communication through Facebook, listen to music through Spotify, etc.
Both phones will have Android 2.2 on board. INQ Cloud Touch (it’s just him in the pictures) is a touch device, but Cloud Q will be a QWERTY smartphone with a 2.6 "screen. They will be on sale in the UK in the second and third quarter of this year, respectively, in the Carphone Warehouse and Best retail chains Buy.
