Coursera has launched 18 new courses

    Coursera, an online educational platform, announced the launch of 18 new specializations covering a wide range of industries, including entrepreneurship, software and healthcare.



    The leader in the Ed-Tech industry offers its users the so-called "massive open online courses" (MOOCs). In January, Coursera was the first educational platform to offer its students a new type of certified educational program that allows them to study university courses and become professionals in any particular field.

    • Engineering Graphics, National Taiwan University
    • Fundamentals of Programming and Algorithms, Peking University
    • Sociology: Methods and Statistics, University of Amsterdam
    • Perception, action and the brain. Duke University
    • Development Strategy for Professionals, Northwest University
    • User Experience and User Interface Design, Georgia Institute of Technology
    • Statics and Dynamics: Foundations in Engineering. Georgia Institute of Technology
    • Healthcare Informatics & Data Analytics, Georgia Institute of Technology

    Coursera reported that more than 1.5 million students have participated in the new programs since launch. The platform started at the time with just 10 courses, among which, in particular, was the course "Programming mobile cloud applications with Android."
