The smallest A4 inkjet printer in the world Epson WorkForce WF-100W
Epson at the IFA exhibition in Berlin introduced the miniature inkjet printer Epson WorkForce WF-100W, which is the most compact A4 printer in the world (as of April 2014). In addition, today it is the only portable printer of this format with a 1.5-inch LCD screen and full pigment ink.
The device can print up to seven black and white and four color pages per minute, measures 309 x 154 x 61 mm and weighs 1.6 kg, so it can be easily transported in a briefcase or bag. The WF-100W has a built-in battery (plugs into a USB or power outlet), which can print up to 100 A4 sheets (with a minimum page fill) on a full charge.

The nearest competitors of the new product are the recently announced Canon Pixma iP110 (dimensions 322 x 185 x 62 mm, weight 2.0 kg) and the HP Officejet 100 (dimensions 348 x 175 x 84 mm, weight 2.5 kg). However, both of these models, except for the greater mass and dimensions, do not have a display and print with combined ink: black pigment + colored aqueous dyes. WF-100W prints only with pigment, which means that your prints will not fade, rinse with water and smeared with a marker.
The need to make a compact printer forced Epson engineers to make a 2-cartridge ink intake system for the first time in a long time (if I am not mistaken, the last time this was in the Epson Stylus Photo 900 in 2003). At the same time, the print head is still part of the printer, not the cartridge, as, for example, in the HP Officejet 100 (it is more difficult to save on such dual-cartridge printers).

And of course, like any modern flagship printer, the WF-100W supports Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, cloud-based Epson IPrint and E-mail Print. It is also compatible with Google Cloud Print and Apple AirPrint. The novelty will go on sale in November at a price of about $ 300.
