Ingenic Newton Platform live
Foreword
In the spring of this year, an article on IoT dev-kit for developers from the Ingenic company, Newton Platform, based on the MIPS processor JZ-4775, took place on Habré .
In August, I was finally able to order it with delivery from China to St. Petersburg. Given one bad experience with customs and sending the dev-kit back to the USA, I was very happy when the parcel was handed to me by courier. In the course of studying the device, I decided to upload some photos of the device “live”, in order to remind the habra-residents about this interesting device. Maybe someone also wants to play with this kit. Under cat 6 photos about 600kb.

So, the neat box in which we find the kit.

Which includes: the module itself, sensors, buttons and display - all this stuff is fixed on plexiglass and a debugging module that allows usb to connect newton to a PC. Attention : the Li-Ion battery was not put in the box (or it cannot be sent, I don’t know). Therefore, I connected a regular battery from a 3.7 volt cell:

Out of the box, Android version 4.3 was preinstalled, the Internet via wifi earned, as you can see:

And the Ingenic screensaver itself - a finished watch on Android:

I’ll finish this post, I study the device further.
