Noisli: online background noise generator to help concentrate

One of the main distractions that prevent one from concentrating is noise. However, not every noise interferes with work - very many are much easier to immerse themselves in the “stream” to music or in a noisy cafe. There are even scientific studies that confirm the positive effects of moderate noise on creative and intellectual tasks.

The Noisli website contains a collection of background noises for every taste and the ability to mix them in any proportion. Here there are sounds of nature - the sound of rain, splashing water, birds singing, rustling leaves, and technogenic sounds - the sound of train wheels, the sound of a working fan, and the sounds of a crowded cafe. There are artificial white, pink and brown noise. The collection of sounds is constantly updated.

In addition to the noise generator, the Noisli website also has a minimalistic text editor with offline mode, Markdown support and a smoothly changing background color - according to the authors of the site, this reduces eye fatigue, although for my taste it would be nice to slightly reduce the brightness and saturation of the background .

In any case, the main purpose of Noisly is to make noise in the background tab, helping to focus on work, and he copes with this. In addition to the online version, which earned last fall, from May 8, the Noisli application for the iPhone is available. Android version is under construction.
