"True horse battery clip", or what is a strong password
- Transfer
Hello!
Today I want to translate not an article or even news, but a comic. This comic is short but damn voluminous.
In fact, it has already become a classic. It is strange that I did not find any mention of him on the hub, nor a Russian translation.
Fill this gap!

Like this. The password “True horse battery staple” (in the original “correct horse battery staple”) is more reliable than “Tr0ub4dor & 3” - it is much more difficult to select and easier to remember using associative memory, which the computer does not have.
On the network, of course, there is a lot of debate about whether this is true, and it seems like they agreed that it is true.
Interestingly, there is even a special site, allowing to generate such passwords from several random words (in English). And for Ruby there is a battery-staple library for generating passwords.
Well, the link to the original: http://xkcd.com/936/
