The Division is a full-fledged game on all platforms, from PC to Android

A lot has already been written and said about the Division game (although there is at least really useful information on the network), including on your favorite hub:
“Did texture kill texture?” - thoughts on the role of textures, textures and materials in
The Division games - console a project that can be released on a PC

However, no respected gamedev industry fan should miss this news, because while in words (in the future, I hope, in fact) the project of the Swedish studio Massive is going to revolutionizeevolution in modern gaming industry. This was inevitable, but so far no one has seriously tried to implement this: to combine all the leading popular gaming platforms in one project at once - PC, XBox, PS, iOs and Android. Developers from almost their first announcement promise a truly full-fledged game from mobile platforms, and today we can see a real demonstration of game mechanics from an unknown tablet (iOS or Android?).

A bird's-eye view of the battlefield will give a number of advantages to a team that has an active player with a tablet: it will allow attacking the enemy behind various fortifications, "highlighting" targets for their allies, etc. The flying device-companion is very similar to the ARDrone Quadricopter and has a number of unique abilities, including active “buffs” and “debuffs”, which will significantly affect the outcome of the battle. The developers claim that a well-coordinated team game with a mobile player will be possible even without voice communication, as In the mobile version there are various tips that will be displayed on the tablet screen during the battle.

After watching this video, many questions arise:
    • How can developers maintain a balance between teams with and without mobile players?
    • What kind of hardware will pull a simplified, but rather dynamic mechanics and graphics of the game?
    • How will tablet players monetize?

And probably the main one: who is next? Blizzard? Valve?
