We are pleased to announce the release of Release Candidate for 3CX Phone System Version 12 (build 31763). Version 12 is the most functional and stable software PBX to date, with completely new multi-platform clients for Windows, Android and iPhone.
Compared to the Beta version, v12 release candidate has added the ability to schedule conferences and improved the 3CXPhone for Windows client. In addition, the version of the Postgres database has been updated. Below is a brief description of the features:
New features and changes in 3CXPhone for Windows
New —
Intercept a call by right-clicking in the presence window in a group.
—Added several operations with calls to the section Active Calls Parking, Conference, Transfer Calls and others.
—The sections Active Queue Calls and and operations with calls in Queues are added.
—Customer can download as many CRM plugins as it is useful for CRM developers.
—Sort by subscribers, First Name / Last Name or Last Name / First Name in the Active Calls section.
—Display IVR calls in the Presence window.
—Custom installation supports roaming profiles.
—Start an external application on an incoming call. You can use 2 variables% CallerNumber% which displays the number of the caller and% CallerDisplayName% displays the name.
—Added Remote Presence group.
—Calls in Queues are now visible in the Horse of Presence and agents, their status and other information are also visible.
—Ability to quickly create a conference from an active call.
—Personal address book is tied to subscribers.
—3CX TAPI Driver — please note: it only works with Microsoft Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013. 3CXTAPI is included in the 3CX CRM module and can be downloaded here.
Bugfix — The
queue delay when the agent answers the call has been reduced.
—Customer now does not constantly display the status “I can not connect to the server” when the connection is lost.
—Caller ID in when active calls from 3CX to another 3CX are now displayed correctly.
—Fixed a bug when minimizing a window to the taskbar or tray.
—Optimized client launch.
—Optimized search in the Presence window.
—The Call History section now displays the time according to the regional settings of Windows.
—The procedure for reconnecting to 3CX has been improved.
—The message displaying multiple IP registrations has been removed. If one of the devices works in CTI mode, then it is a priority.
—The client interface has been improved. Extra windows in the menu have been removed.

Recording conversations will be available shortly.
—Group chat will be available soon.
—Conference planning for Windows will be available soon.
—The SIP phone mode will be available soon.

If you already have 3CX Phone System 12 Beta and 3CXPhone 12 Windows client installed, you must uninstall them before installing Release Candidates of v12 and 3CXPhone for Windows.
