Layout of the WORLD station on a scale of 1: 3 inside the giant pyramid
Just think about it! A group of Russian children will build a huge pyramid (19x19 meters around the perimeter and 11 meters in height), inside this pyramid there will be a floating copy of the MIR space station on a 1: 3 scale. A team of Russian design artists won a contest to install such an art object at the American Burning Man festival of radical expression, which will be held in August 2013 in the Black Rock Desert. This is the first and so far the only case of Russian participation in the festival in its entire 27-year history.
To implement the project, the team collectively needs about $ 60,000 (1.8 million rubles). And only part of this amount is covered by the Burning Man grant. The remaining amount must be obtained by the team yourself!
To obtain the necessary funds, the team launched:

This is a very impressive project. Separately, it is worth highlighting that the Mir station was reproduced with the preservation of reliability, and successively docked station modules were recreated.
A complete picture of the layout can be obtained from the demo video.
In my opinion, everything looks very airy and truly cosmic. It is only a pity that the project awards do not have separate blocks or a whole model of a space station. It would also be great to do something in the spirit of drawings in the style of Da Vinci with a schematic representation of the design. Personally, I really liked the layout, a wonderful designer would come out of it.

It will be great if it turns out to interest space giants such as skydiver Felix Baumgartner, who made the YouTube star, jump into the stratosphere, Paolo Nespoli, who leads his Twitter from Earth’s orbit, and, of course, Chris Hadfield, who sang in space and also leads his twitter .
I wish the guys good luck in both companies. Leading them both at the same time is very difficult, but space itself should help them.
