Box and equipment
The box at Oppo is immediately unusual. Rather, it looks like an ordinary brick.

But in fact - the claws on the magnetic lock elegantly swing open, exposing the insides of the box.

Inside is the smartphone itself, a headset, a charger, a USB cable, instructions and a clip (for a SIM card).

Accessories are very suitable for the phone, the style is sustained and pleasant.
Even the paper clip is in the form of a corporate stylized letter O.

From all sides
The smartphone is a monoblock, tightly assembled. Case - white matte plastic. Not a soft touch, not a varnish, everything is as it should. There are no prints at all, dirt does not absorb.
The front side is covered with Gorilla Glass 2 - I hope that it will not collect scratches, at least as in some smartphones (see my previous review).

The display is the main advantage of a smartphone. This is a 5 inch FullHD IPS matrix (it used to be a WOW factor in 15 inch laptops!).
Viewing angles are excellent. Color rendering is excellent. There are small shoals in white, but it seems to me that this is specifically in my sample.
The screen brightness is enough, everything is visible in the sun (albeit less colorful). There is no grain, of course. Still, 441 ppi is doing its job.

The display sensor is responsive, supports 10 touches.
Right below the screen are the touch buttons back, home, menu. They seemed uncomfortable to me - very often I caught a random press "home" when I pressed the space bar on the keyboard.
The backlight of the buttons is weak, blue. In the dark, of course, helps. And during the day - not visible.

At the bottom there is a microphone and microUSB (slightly shifted to the right, which is convenient).

On the top is a headset jack.

On the left is the power button, as well as a slot for a micro-SIM card (gets a paper clip). The power button is convenient, but it sticks out a little from the case (although, for some it will seem a plus).

On the right is the volume rocker. By the way, the plastic material is very cool. Shiny and translucent.

On the back of Oppo is the Oppo logo itself, a 13 MP camera and speaker (with a protrusion, so that the device does not jam on the table).

The front camera, speaker, proximity sensors, as well as an indicator of missed events - on the front panel (under the glass).

Software part
The software is crafty Chinese Android Jelly Bean. That is, the branded oppovskaya shell. It looks worse than the drain, but clearly better than iOS 7;) Settings, for example, are divided into sections (tabs): General - where you can configure wireless interfaces Sound (it’s clear that the settings relate to sound) Screen (brightness, screen lock, auto-rotate, indicator notifications and other) Security (here immediately in a crowd different settings, including accounts). Most standard applications are stylized as a corporate oppo style. Thanks to this, the smartphone looks very assembled (everything inside is very similar) and neat. Oppo programmers are not in vain eating their bread! Lock screen (three types are available - slider, card and ring).

The multitasking screen is somewhat similar, again to an iPhone (new), or HTC.

Benchmarks (lovers of numbers)
As for the hardware, everything is fine - Snapdragon S4 pro, 2 GB of RAM. Everything is as it should!
Therefore, in synthetics we get very good numbers. Of course, not without a fly in the ointment. All this beauty must be nourished by something. And she loves to eat. As a result, my device barely survived until the evening. And there was nothing I could do about it. This is a kind of fee for stuffing and bells and whistles. Perhaps it is fixable by software.

Total
Total we have: excellent design, excellent build, awesome stuffing, chic screen and, honestly, a rather weak battery. All this is seasoned with a cunning signature shell. In my opinion, the device is good, but the battery is stuffed, of course, not enough for a Full HD screen. But I’m used to using my smartphone actively, for a few days. Therefore, I look like a shovel for now. And I will wait for better optimization of battery consumption or a larger battery. And so the device is what you need!

The price of the device is about 19 thousand rubles. However, if ordered from abroad, it will be traditionally cheaper.
