DConf 2013 - D Programming Language Conference Held
A little more than a week ago, the three-day conference on the programming language D ended. We
have already written about it on Habrahabr several times , and a separate post was devoted to the conference itself , where you can see the full list of reports.

Directions of reports:
All reports were filmed and will be gradually published. So far, recordings of the first two performances are available: an opening speech by the creator of the language, Walter Bright and a story about Copy and Move Semantics in D by Ali Çehreli, both videos are added below.

The conference organizers believe that it was very successful and showed that D is a rapidly developing and promising language. In the future, it is planned to make DConf an annual event.

- Experience in using D in solving applied problems: compiler writing, research and game development
- Language internals: metaprogramming, specific design patterns, SIMD
- Discussions of the future language between its developers
