Happy Farm Business Incubator Presents Updated Second Cycle Mentoring Program

    Happy Farm Business Incubator conducts a set of startups until May 10, 2013. The best will fall into the Happy Farm acceleration program, which consists of three stages:
    • Mentorship program: Ukraine, 2 months.
    • “American Breakthrough”, trip to the USA, 1 month;
    • Post-support and investment attraction: Ukraine, 2 months.

    Fundamentals: Business model; Command; Financial, legal framework, as well as intellectual property issues; Strategy for attracting investments and working with investors; Organizational and project management; Pitching and presentations.

    Product Development: Prototype, MVP, new technologies; Design; Usability;
    Product value; Scaling Exit strategy.

    Height:Market entry strategy; Basics of marketing and sales; B2C, B2B, affiliate programs; Work with investors and partners.

    Silicon Valley Prep: Business Culture and Relations; Networking
    Silicon Valley Ecosystem; Videos, books, films, practice; Intensive English Negotiation skills.

    The selection and development of startup projects will be carried out by an international Board , consisting of investors and serial entrepreneurs, including Igor Shoyfot (TMT Investments), Paul Asoyan (Google), John Nordmark (UsingMiles.com, Ebags.com), Brian Satyanathan ( Turner Media).
    Also, 35 highly professional international mentors will share their diverse entrepreneurial experience with startup teams, including: Madeleine Duva (Eye-Fi Advisor), Gil Penchina (Co-Founder or Angel of Linkedin, Viddy, Paypal, Wikia, Evite, Fastly, IndieGogo, Couchsurfing), Mika Baldwin (CEO, Graphicly), Anton Biondo (CEO, 34 Solutions), Tristan Cromer (startup trainer, LUXr Incorporated).

    Each Bord adviser is assigned 1-2 start-up projects. Bord's adviser accompanies a startup project from the moment it enters the business incubator program until the startup is sold - presumably for two years. Also, 1-2 mentors are assigned to the startup, accompanying and advising the project throughout the acceleration program.
    Startups-residents of the second cycle will be selected on May 17 at a meeting of the International Board in Happy (Kiev, Ukraine). The mentoring program for residents will start on May 20.
