Examples of using trigonometric functions for animation

Justin Windle, a Google Creative Lab programmer and designer, posted an interesting demo on Codepen.io showing examples of using trigonometric functions to set the animation dynamics (easing), which looks natural and believable. The demo is written using the lightweight Sketch.js animation framework written by Windle.
