Logmein. How to get out of a vicious circle
Good afternoon. I am in some way a system administrator. And I really, really liked logmein. I completely missed the free version, and the future seemed quite optimistic. I knew that if needed I could connect from any actual place to a poor user and help.
Recently, after entering the system, you could see a warning saying that the company’s policy has changed, we collect money even when using free (150 euros from the account during the “promotion” period), otherwise we’ll limit you to 10 computers.
I remembered that it would be necessary to divide large accounts into a handful of small ones and try to somehow get along with what will turn out, but as usual I pushed aside this moment as best I could. And now, the moment has come, out of 18 computers, “white” remained 10, everything below (in alphabetical order) - turned gray, links “became unpressed”.
Naturally, I got into dialogs with users, prescribing new credentials with them under the dictation of ... became quite uncomfortable. And, worse, today I needed a computer that turned out to be slightly lower than the 10th, white line, i.e. turned out to be outside the limits.
At the moment, there is a “vulnerability” that saved me (which is why I decided to write the first post on the hub).
The connection link looks like this
Here xxxxxxxxxxxxx is the host id. This id can be spied in the code of the page, substituted into the link and connected to the desired computer. At least now it is possible to scatter computers according to clone accounts (apparently this was hinted at by an informational message in which the phrase “do not take any action” sounded).
Further in the pictures, everything should be clear.

Dull gray lines ...

Those id are painted over in red.
I apologize in advance for possible typos and crumpled presentation.
