Hero H9500 + (OEM Zopo zp900) - a large smartphone at a low price

Greetings to all habrozhitel! In a review of one of the smartphones from China, I promised to review my new Hero H9500 + device at the end of the session. In my topic, I hope to meet the expectations of those users who wanted to see it.

PS This is my first article on Habré, so please write all comments and errors in the LAN.

Hero H9500 + is the OEM version of the Zopo zp900 smartphone, or as the Chinese themselves say, the version for export. These two models differ only in that the Zopo has a company logo on the back cover, and the Hero has it clean. There is also a guarantee for Zopo in China, but I think few readers will be interested in it.

    Equipment

I bought it on aliexpress.com. The parcel was shipped by HongKong air post, lasted 23 days, which is a very good indicator for December.
The phone came in the following configuration:
    • Phone itself
    • 2 batteries of 2300 mAh each
    • Headset
    • Microfiber Screen Protector
    • Cover book
    • Charger
    • MicroUSB-USB data cable
    • English user manual
    • MicroSD on 32Gb (I ordered it myself for an additional fee)

    Design

The phone is sold in two colors: white and dark blue. I chose dark blue, which I first regretted when the parcel had already flown to Russia, but when I saw the device I immediately stopped thinking about it - I really liked it.
By design, the smartphone resembles SGS 3, although the dimensions are larger. The first couple of days I could not get used to the size, but then I quickly got used to it and the smaller phones seem very small. There is no inconvenience with carrying in your pocket, because you rarely wore the old devices in the pocket of your bag. The assembly is very good, no backlashes and creaks were
    noticed.

There are 3 buttons on the front panel: one physical (Home) and 2 touch (Back and Settings):

On the rear panel there is an 8MP camera:

There is nothing on the left side, the volume rocker and power button on the right:

ZP900 Leader operates on the basis of the MTK6577 dual-core chipset with a processor frequency of 1 GHz. The amount of RAM is 1 GB, built-in - 4 GB, which can be increased up to 64 GB using microSD memory cards. The MTK6577 processor is based on the ARMv7 Cortex-A9 architecture and uses PowerVR SGX531 Ultra graphics. In the Antutu Benchmark test, a smartphone running Android 4.0.4 scored 6653 points:

    Firmware

The firmware is standard Android 4.0.4. I did not reflash, because everything was fine with it anyway. Chinese programs (there were 2) were disabled in the processes.

    Camera

I would rate the quality of the camera 4. I did not expect more from a Chinese smartphone.

    Total

I’ve been using the phone for more than a month, I’m happy with everything. There are no complaints about the quality of communication. On the first day of use, I thought that the interlocutor was hard to hear, but I realized that because of the habit of not getting the size of the smartphone, he brought his ear to the wrong place.
In terms of price and quality, it seems to me that Hero H9500 + (Zopo zp900) is one of the best smartphones from the Middle Kingdom at the moment, if you need a smartphone with a 5.3 "display. I bought it with 32GB MicroSD for $ 240, now but it costs even less.
PS Who wants to can watch a short video about this smartphone, shot by my younger brother.
