Microsoft hired a designer to create a futuristic brand



    Designer Andrew Kim made a lot of noise in the summer of 2012 when he created his branding option for Microsoft . The Next Microsoft brand is based on science fiction, the futuristic development of the human species and space exploration.

    A few days ago, Andrew Kim wrote on his blog that after six months of negotiations, Microsoft hired him to work in the Xbox division. Andrew will begin work after graduation, in the summer of 2013.

    Andrew Kim said that Microsoft itself contacted him after he published a series of works by The Next Microsoft. The new design involves a complete change of concept and the rejection of "unpleasant associations of the past." This approach was very favorably received by the public, dozens of media wrote about the new design.





    Andrew Kim suggests using a fundamentally different form for logos - the slate.
