The origin of coworking in Saratov

    I am a freelancer.

    That’s how I imagine myself when I don’t want to explain to my interlocutor why it happens that as the head of my own company I can simultaneously be a hired manager in a stranger, supervise projects in the third, win tenders on weekdays and write the service code on weekends. An entrepreneur sounds too pathetic, and being called a gouging, I think, is not too useful for a business.

    It turned out that a couple of years ago I really wanted to settle down with my project in a coworking center, so that I could ask Kolya’s neighbor how to set up Marmalade or help his team win a guest tender for development. Well, or involve coworkers Sasha and Dasha in the design, and Petya in setting up the server. Or bring customers to negotiate. Or make a joint project.

    Unfortunately, these plans failed to come true, since Saratov was at that time, and now remains a non-co-working city. A couple of years ago, I seriously considered how to organize coworking myself, but there were too few resources, and there were too many problems and I scored it, hoping that someone would do their coworking, and I would fit into it as a participant.

    Unfortunately, no one did this and there was nowhere to fit. But now I have both the desire and the opportunity to change this.

    At the moment, there is a small (for 5-10 people) office with round-the-clock access, some furniture and a safe, automatic telephone exchange and IP-telephony, Internet and telephony are provided. A coffee machine and a supply of coffee were bought for the first time :) And that means there is the opportunity to have some good fun and take over the world if a worthy pirate team gets together and gets on board!

    Next to me I would like to see developers of mobile applications, web and just programmers, game-dev, designers, musician. However, it will be interesting to talk with those who are not on this list, since I want to gather independent, but complementary teams and freelancers under one roof.

    Those wishing to participate in the above adventure are invited to contact me in drugs on a hub or in the mail, and answer a few simple questions:
    1. What do I want from coworking (competencies of other participants, equipment, services (for example, accounting, etc.), tariffs) ?;
    2. What am I ready to provide (competencies, resources, level of payment for coworking) ?;
    3. Contact details so that you can be contacted.

    Arrrgggghh!
