In fact, the topic claims to be a captain, but I dare to write it, because I did not know that there was such an opportunity, and for a couple of days I was desperate.
As we know, recently google turned off Google Apps Free registration for new users, leaving the ability to use the service for domains that have already been registered.
At first, this news upset me, and I tried to look for alternatives, but it became clear that they weren’t, except for Yandex, which at one time did not work with the quality of mail and the lack of such close integration with a smartphone. The cost of a google service for personal amateur projects is high. But a way out was found!
It turned out that you can bind several personal domains to one account.
I think not one I tried to do various services, and simultaneously registered for myself Google Apps Free. Having rummaged in my memory and zahashniks, I found 4 of these.
Remember the password and login for the super administrator, and then:
Domain Settings - Domain Names - Add a domain or domain alias.
Add a new domain, make a user for him, if desired, we can appoint him superuser.
Thus, you can extend the freebie a bit, in my case it’s an additional 4 dozen addresses.

ps I want to believe that with the departure of Google from this market, someone will take their place with the same excellent anti-spam, jabber and other goodies, but at an affordable price.
ps 2: I wonder if there will be a market for used (poyuzannyh) apps free? :) In my opinion, for an adequate price, such things can be offered for sale.
