POP: live paper prototypes of interfaces for iPhone

Many designers prefer the good old notebook and pencil to all other ways of creating interface sketches - prototyping software is difficult to compete with paper in simplicity, versatility and intuitiveness. But paper layouts have a serious flaw - they lack interactivity. The POP (Prototyping On Paper) application allows you to turn a pencil sketch into an interactive prototype. It is enough to photograph the thumbnails of the screens, mark on them the active elements - buttons, menu items, and set transitions between screens.

The created prototype can be shared with colleagues and customers, and receive feedback and comments from them using the application for iPhone and iPad or through a browser. So far, in POP you can only mark active elements manually, automatic recognition of freehand sketches is too difficult for a young project, the developers admit, but they have plans to release a set of stickers in the form of standard iOS interface elements that can be recognized much easier, and then the interactive layout can be obtained from paper even faster and easier.
