Microsoft Research does not cease to amaze us with its augmented reality developments and innovative interfaces. The novelty will be officially presented at the 25th ACM Symposium .
The device in the form of a bracelet monitors the position of the hand and fingers for control in 3D space using an infrared laser, camera and diffuser.
The device can be used to control a computer or in video games, and now it is able to recognize common gestures.
The creation of such a manipulator is also possibly associated with another project from Microsoft Research, Project Fortaleza, which can compete with Project Glass glasses from Google.
