Founders of BioWare said goodbye to the gaming industry

BioWare founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Music left the studio. Both note that they did not have conflicts with Electronic Arts (the company of which BioWare is currently owned), they just decided to start new projects.

Greg Zeschuk will take part in the creation of the Internet broadcast "The Beer Diaries" ("Beer Diaries"), dedicated to the creators of beer. Greg is not going to return to the gaming industry and admits that he will not have such a desire in the future.

Music, in turn, said it had achieved everything that it wanted in the gaming industry. In the future, he intends to cooperate with charitable organizations working in the fields of education, medicine and animal welfare.

Messages about the departure of Greg Zeschuk from BioWare appeared in the press in early August 2012 (at that time he was the general manager of the Austin-based studio unit). A representative of Electronic Arts later denied this information. According to the company, Zeshchuk really left the post of head of BioWare Austin, intending to take a vacation and spend it with his family. After that, Greg supposedly had to continue working with EA.

Canadian studio BioWare was established in 1995. In the fall of 2007, it became known that Electronic Arts had bought the studio. BioWare has worked on games such as Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age.

This is how an entire era ends.
