Date Picker is now available in Chrome Canary and Chromium.

    The latest update to the Chrome Canary and Chromium builds has included support for the new form picker, Date Picker . By setting type = "date" for input, we will see a small triangle next to the text box. By clicking on it, the user can use the date picker to select the date and its parameters, all without JavaScript.




    In the comments to the news, Paul Irish explained that this is not the last option for the implementation of this element and that developers will heed any constructive feedback.

    Since this is a native browser control, there is no way to apply custom styles to it yet.
