Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman is the new music player from one of the leaders in the music mobile phone segment. Many of our autopsies showed that among Ericsson and even camera phones, Sony Ericsson has the best models. The downside of all of them was only at a high price. But for the quality, you must agree, you have to pay.

    image

In general, we issued an advance payment to Sony Ericsson Live and, I must say, were not disappointed. This model is an excellent embodiment of a music phone - it has two large polyphonic speakers, symmetrically located in the upper and lower parts of the case. The volume of the speakers is such that, turning them on at full power (and not hearing wheezing!), We were forced to do quieter - it is uncomfortable to be near such a noise source.

The camera of the phone, with a resolution of 5 megapixels, also left a very worthy impression. And examples of pictures can be viewed below.

The operating system Sony Ericsson Live, of course, Android. By default, we have five customizable home screens and five same menu pages.

What I probably didn’t like was access to the sim and flash reader: there is no “hot” replacement. We have to pull out the battery to put a SIM card or change the "flash drive".

The Sony Ericsson Live case is made of plastic, the device itself is very comfortable in the hand, it does not try to slip out, there are also no prints on the case. For those who care about the environment, we inform that this gadget belongs to the “green” Grean Heart line - that is, it does not have paper instructions (it is on the disk), and the phone itself is made of recycled plastic.

What this mobile phone can do is written directly on the “face” —that is, there is a special sticker on the display. So, we read: a 3.2-inch display (by the way, with a modest resolution of 320x480 pixels), a 1 GHz processor, the ability to record HD video from a 5 megapixel camera, GPS and 3G HSUPA support (analogue of HSDPA).

It remains only to add that Sony Ericsson Live in early November on the Russian market, on average, costs 8.7 thousand rubles - a very good price for such a phone (keep in mind that the kit includes an 8 GB memory card). And the first users, describing the flaws of the phone, concisely raise their hands: "There are simply no (flaws)."

    A look before the showdown

Next, look at the location of the side buttons on the Sony Ericsson Live case. On the left we see a microUSB connector.

    image

At the bottom there is a microphone duct and a hole for attaching a cord.

    image

On the right is the volume control button for the camera control button.

    image

At the top there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack (in the center), a power button / hold, a power button for the Walkman player.

    Getting to the inside

    The bottom panel

We begin the analysis of Sony Ericsson Live by unscrewing a rather large number of screws: four “hex” and five “cross” ones. Then remove the bottom panel.

    image

The panel is made of plastic, two polyphonic speakers are located almost symmetrically in it. On the bottom panel is the headset jack, GSM, Wi-Fi and GPS antennas. Red stickers are moisture sensors. On the reverse side (that is, on the side where the reverse side of the phone is), these stickers are white. If they turn red, then this is an indicator of contact with water. On the bottom panel are the camera’s safety glass and flash glass.

Front side of the system board

Before we get to the motherboard, we must remove it from the latches on the top of the Sony Ericsson Live case. Also, do not forget about the loop of the display and sensor, which should be unfastened.

On the front side of the Sony Ericsson Live motherboard under the removable screens are a power controller with a power supply, a processor, flash memory.

    image

Reverse side of the system board

On the back of the Sony Ericsson Live motherboard are a sim reader and a flash reader. Also here are the battery contacts, a vibration motor, a camera (its cable is attached to the other side of the board).

    Display

Next, we separate the display and the sensor. The Sony Ericsson Live display, recall, has a diagonal of 3.2 inches, image resolution - 320x480 pixels, color rendering - 16.78 million colors.

    Top panel

The top panel of Sony Ericsson Live is a plastic case and plastic glass, on which the sensor is applied.
