Search IP and SSL for Search
Google has launched several new features for the search engine. Firstly, now you can quickly find out your IP address simply by typing ip in the search bar . Currently works only in the English version of Google.

Secondly, Google has enabled SSL by default for authorized sessions in the search, now attackers will not be able to monitor your search queries. Previously, for the encrypted interface, you had to go to https://encrypted.google.com/ , now SSL is automatically activated after authorization.

In the next few weeks, a redirect to https://www.google.com/ should work for all users.
