The Japanese have created a portable stress meter

Is it not very calm at your work? Are you worried about a possible crisis? Well, permanent stress can cause all sorts of diseases and disorders, and you will not even suspect that you are in a state of stress. Doctors have long been discussing the effect of stress on our health with you, but until now, stress has been an abstract concept for an individual. Spilled coffee? So I have stress, not otherwise. Specialists from Tokyo Metropolitan University have created a portable stress level meter.

The system looks very simple - it is a flat box with a contact pad for the finger. The device connects to a laptop or PC, where the corresponding software does its job. A person who wants to measure the level of stress should put a finger on the pad, and the system will measure the characteristics of the blood flow. The whole diagram shows the stress level in a real-time system on a four-point scale.

The stress indicator will become known 10 seconds after a person puts his finger on the contact pad. Now, as mentioned above, the contact area and the computer that analyzes the indicators are two different objects. Scientists have already created a prototype device, which is a mouse that measures the user's stress level. This is much more convenient, and, you see, more practical.

When working with a task that is done, as always, at the last moment, you can measure your own stress level. In principle, a rather useful invention, and if all this goes on sale, there are obviously buyers.
