Interesting news in the light of the fact that Russian officials will lose the iPad and get protected tablets.

Latest News: RIM reports that the QNX-based BlackBerry PlayBook tablet has received FIPS 140-2 certification, making it the first tablet certified for use in US federal organizations.

According to a press release , the PlayBook is the only tablet to successfully pass FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) certification at NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), which is required by U.S. federal law on governance information security from 2002 (FISMA).
