The conference in Singapore has come to an end. Undoubtedly, it will go down in history because on June 20, ICANN approved the program of new top-level domains. Soon we will see the names of sites that will end with almost any word in any language. “ICANN's achievements in Singapore will go down in history. The main results of the conference:

ICANN Approves New gTLD Program.
The board of directors elected Steve Crocker as its chairman.
Bruce Tonkins is elected vice chairman.
The Board of Directors includes Chris Dispein, Australia .au Country Code Registrar General Director, Australia, and Bill Graham, former ICANN Internet Community Strategy Leader.
A new agreement has been concluded with VeriSign for domain registration in the .NET zone.
