Hello everybody! I’m glad to report that after 3 weeks of work, my Android application has been successfully redesigned. PopCornUA is a movie poster for Ukrainian cinemas.
What was done? First of all, this is of course a change in design - almost everything has been redesigned. Also added search, transfer to SD card (for this I had to remove the widget), improved work with the card and stability. The application is free and without ads. The designer and just a great person Timur Prokopyev helped me with the design and video.

- I had to get rid of the widget to be able to transfer it to an SD card ( more )
- It’s more convenient to work using styles, but it limits support for Android versions ( Details )
- For a more convenient SQLite database search, it is better to use FTS3 than LIKE ( more )

- Fixed map in the absence of cinemas
- Asynchronous loading of images when the cache is off
